Living Outside

You have to love a city that lives outside, offers unique pathways, to explore and opportunities to sit and observe life. Market Square, Fan Tan Alley, and the Causeway are perfect examples in Victoria. Each is a few minutes walking distance apart.
Walking Around

September is the month I shift from hiking shorts and short sleeve cotton shirts to tweed. The sun is warm and the shade autumn cool. The last of the cruise ships arrive this month and favourite vendors prepare to close shop at month’s end. I spent most of this week reading with a book in hand while I strolled around enjoying the last markets, the stunning architecture, and unusual places not seen before. Anytime Fitness and the many walking paths are great for long reads. My boating friend arrive next month for the winter. Until then the city is filled with music, outdoor seating, sunshine, and great joy. All the things I love.
